Meeting Minutes for meeting held on November 03, 2004

Members in attendance: Joy Seaton, George Anderson, Jackie Moyer, Joan Cunningham, Janet Fuenty, Tara Theisen, Laura Wiegert, Arnie Binning, and Don Sandell.
Meeting called to order by Don Sandell at 8:00 a.m.
Welcome to new members and guests. New members and visitors are always welcome.
Presidents Message: None.
Treasurers Report was distributed and summarized by Joy Seaton. The report was approved.
Minutes of the last meeting were distributed. Jackie Moyer suggested we no longer have a designation in the minutes for a Crooked River Days Committee. No other additions, deletions or corrections were recommended. Tara Theisen moved that the minutes be approved. Joy Seaton seconded the motion and the motion passed unanimously.
New members and businesses: Two new businesses are open. A satellite dish installation business is operating at the former BIN on Third Street. A silk screening business has located on Main Street in the building previously housing Big City Video.
Agenda additions: None.
Committee Reports
Finance and Administration Committee: No report was made.
Membership Committee: No report was made.
Streetscape Committee: We received almost all of the money needed to order the lights. General consensus approved the purchase of the lights.
Advertising and Business Promotion: No report was made.
Summer Festival Committee: The Committee needs additional members in January. Please call Jackie Moyer for meeting times. Many sponsorships have been obtained.
Old Business
Christmas Walk: Jackie Moyer has obtained the animals for the nativity from the Equine Center. The luminaries will be lit at 4:30. The nativity parade will begin at 5:30. Wagon ride will be available from 10:00 12:00 on Saturday. The silent Auction will be in the basement of U.S. Bank all day on Friday and from 9:00 2:00 on Saturday. An advertising budget of $300.00 was approved.
New Business
Repair of Sign: Arnie Binning obtained a bid from Shawcraft Signs to improve the wooden sign near the middle school for $750.00. Joan moved to engage Shawcraft Signs to improve the sign. Joy seconded the motion and the motion carried.
